Sovereign God, You created all things in the heavens and on the earth. Forgive us for looking to ourselves or to anything or anyone other than You for help. Please help us God. Please remind us today of Your faithfulness. Shine the light and warmth of Your glorious face upon us and speak into our hearts and lives today. Please work for us and move Your hand to protect us, bless us, and to work to move us towards the goodness and the plans that You have for our lives that You promise us in Your Holy Word. Many of us are discouraged, lonely, and deeply wounded Lord. We need to see Your grace and faithfulness towards us, Your children through adoption because of the saving blood of Jesus. We thank You God for Jesus, His sacrifice, and for His victory over sin that allows us to be made clean by our belief in Him. Please pour out Your abundant love upon us today. These things I pray in the glorious name of Christ Jesus my Lord and my Savior. AMEN
