Lord Jesus, thank you for teaching us how to pray. Our Father in heaven, may Your name be kept holy. May Your Kingdom come soon. May Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Provide for our needs today, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. Your Kingdom is forever and ever, all power and glory and honor belong to You Yahweh God.
Help us God to understand who we are in You. You created us in Your image and love us enough that You sent Your Son to die in sacrifice and atonement for our sin. Because of the blood of Christ are Your children and we need Your mercy, grace, and goodness. God, please show us Your faithfulness to Your promises. Please bless us out of Your goodness and lovingkindness. Many of us need to see Your face and loving hand at work for our lives. We need to experience Your love and provision for us in tangible ways. God, please have mercy on us and be gracious to us today. Shine the warmth and light of Your loving face upon us and work in goodness for us with Your powerful and mighty hand. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
