1Corinthians_3:18-20_800x533_Imperator

Stop deceiving yourselves. If you think you are wise by this world’s standards, you need to become a fool to be truly wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say,

“He traps the wise

    in the snare of their own cleverness.”

And again,

“The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise;

    he knows they are worthless.”  1 Corinthians 3:18-20

Sovereign God, I bow my heart before You in humility and brokenness. I give You thanks and praise even though I’ve not seen Your hand at work for me yet and I’m still suffering in many areas of my life. I pray and lift up my brothers and sisters to You as well. Help us to be childlike in our faith. Help us to see You for who You are and to know the reality that nothing is impossible for You. Show us Your power, Your majesty, and Your glory in real and tangible ways. Open our eyes and hearts to the truth of who You are. I ask for Your glorious and wonderful blessings for my brothers and sisters and ask that You would spark within us a flame and use it to bring You glory and honor and praise. Shine on us and use us to draw others unto Yourself. I ask these things in the name of Christ Jesus my Savior and Lord; AMEN!
