You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16 

Father God, I love You and I bow my heart before You. I pray for my brothers and sisters as well that You would shine on us and help us to see Your glorious face and Your generous hand at work for us. Help us to be lights shining in this dark world for You. Give us courage and boldness to share our faith and belief in Your Son who is Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior with others around us. Reignite those of us that are but smoldering wicks (Matthew 12:20) and light a fire of passion within us for You. We love You, we praise You, and we give You thanks for all that You have done and all that You have yet to do in our lives. In Jesus’ name; AMEN.
