And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”  Revelation 5:5 ESV 

Father God, I come to You and give You thanks and praise. I bow at Your feet humbly today not only for myself but, for my brothers and sisters in Christ also. Thank You for this reminder today; the reminder that Your Son Jesus who is our Savior and Lord has conquered and is able to put into action the abolition of evil and sin so that we, as your children, can be with You forever. We worship You, Sovereign God! All glory, honor, and praise belong to You. Jesus, we love You and thank You for Your willingness to be the final sacrifice to pay for our sin once and for all. Jesus, You are our King! We bow in humility at Your feet asking for Your mercy and grace. Take away our sinful desires and weakness. Give us strength, courage, and boldness to proclaim Your love and goodness for all to hear. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit and grant us the gifts that You promise to use in us to show Yourself in this dark world. I love You and thank You and praise You. Jesus, it is in Your Holy Name that I pray these things; AMEN!
