And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.  Romans 12:1 NLT 

Father God, I love You and I give You thanks and praise!  I bow my spirit humbly at Your feet petitioning on my own behalf but also in intercession for my brothers and sisters in Christ.  Please be merciful and forgive us of our faults and failures and be gracious to us as You always are.  Please help us to understand this verse today and how to apply it as we go throughout our day to day activities.  Help us to remember that these bodies are not our own but are simply a vessel that You have given us to inhabit while on this earth.  We just pause a moment now and quietly worship You and ask that You would speak to us and fill us once again with Your Holy Spirit.  

We recognize You, Yahweh God, as The Most High living God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  You created the heavens and the earth and all things therein.  When we failed You Father, and gave in to the temptation of sin You sent Your spotless, sinless, and blameless Son who is Christ Jesus to pay the price for our sin.  We love You and surrender ourselves wholly and completely to You.  You and You alone are worthy of all honor and glory! You alone are worthy of our worship and praise!  I pray these things in the glorious and precious name of my Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ; AMEN!
