Sovereign God, as we get closer to Christmas and deeper into this season of gifts and giving I ask that You would help us to be mindful of You. I love You and all of my thanks and praise belong to You. As I come in humility to Your throne and plead with You for Your mercy and grace I am reminded of how freely You have given of those. Help each and every one of us who have been saved by the grace and blood of Your Son Jesus Christ and who have invited Him into our lives to be reminded of this great and free gift from You. As we move through this season give us boldness and courage to freely share the good news of Jesus and of Your gift of salvation through Him with others. It is the greatest gift ever given and we are eternally grateful to be able to sing of Your goodness and love for all eternity in Your presence. You and You alone are worthy of all honor, praise, adoration, and glory. I lift these things up to you as Your Word tells us, in the name of Christ Jesus my Savior and King; AMEN!
