In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So, if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Romans 12:6-8 NLT
Father God, You are wonderful and amazing. I love You and I thank You and give You praise. I bow my heart in humility at Your feet. The weight and goodness of these verses is awesome and begs me to give You thanks and also drives me forward to do all that You desire me to do while on this earth. I lift up my brothers and sisters in Christ to You today and ask that You would light a fire of passion inside each of us to carry out the tasks that You have for us. Please God help us to look past the pain and suffering in our lives and help us to focus on You and Your calling for our lives. Give us guidance and direction and go before us preparing the path that You have set forth. Your word says that You remember that we are but dust, and that You will not quench a smoldering wick or break a bruised reed and these promises bring us hope. Bless each and every one of us today out of the storehouse of Your goodness and love. I pray these things in the name of Christ Jesus; AMEN!
