And Joseph and His (Jesus’) mother marveled at those things which were spoken of Him. Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, “Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against (yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2:33-35 NKJV
Sovereign God, I love You and I give You thanks and praise. I bow my heart humbly before You and thank You again for sending Your Son Jesus to this earth to show us how to live and to pay once and for all for our sin. Thank You for the choice to choose Jesus and that redemption that he bought us on the cross and was raised to life again so that we may live with You for eternity. Touch each and every person’s heart who reads this today and help us to understand the magnitude of what has been done for us. Help us to see the humanity in the life of Christ, and help us to know not only how to apply it in our lives but, how to share it with others who don’t believe. Father God, I believe that the time is quickly approaching when You will send Jesus back for those of us who believe in Him. Please send revival to this earth in a mighty way so that You book can be filled with names of those who believe and who adore You and are devoted to You. You alone, Yahweh God are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. I pray these things in the precious and holy name of Christ Jesus my Savior and Lord; AMEN!
