Sovereign God, I love You and I give You thanks and praise! All glory and honor belong to You! I bow before You in humility and beg for Your abundant mercy and grace. I lift up my brothers and sisters in Christ to You as well in these prayers. As we reach the end of this year and look to start a new one, grant us a fresh and new start and perspective on this life. Help us to see Your love, kindness, goodness, mercy, grace, and your desire to give us gifts of Your goodness. Help us to value the eternal and to keep our perspective on the temporal. Many of us are suffering Father. Grant us new mercies and grace and pour out Your healing upon us. Fill us with Your peace, joy, happiness, and great love through Jesus that we may truly delight in You and spread those things to everyone around us. Many of us have been waiting on You to move on our behalves for a very long time. Please God don’t stay Your hand any longer, turn your glorious face to us and work for our good. Show us Your tender love, affection, and amazing joy. Lord bless us and keep us. Shine Your glorious face upon us, and be gracious to us. God of hope, lift up Your countenance upon us, show us Your favor, give us Your peace. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with our spirits and fill us with all joy and peace in believing, that we may abound in hope by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Grand us courage and boldness to go into this new year refreshed and renewed and with a passion to share the good news of Christ with others. I ask and pray these things in the glorious name of Christ Jesus my Savior and Lord; AMEN!
