“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.  John 14:1-3 NKJV

Father God, I love You and I bow my heart humbly at Your feet. I give You thanks and praise for all that You have done and are doing. You and You alone are worthy of all glory and honor and praise. Please forgive me of my sin, have mercy on me, and be gracious to me. Thank You for these wonderful reminders of Your promises. So many of us are suffering and afflicted in some way right now. Thank You for giving us something to look forward to and to have hope in. Please continue to take us into this new year with hope, showing us Your love and affection through our experiencing it for ourselves in a very real and tangible way. Remember our hopes and dreams as well as the good and righteous desires of our hearts. Bless us so that we will be able to bless others in Jesus’ name and bring glory to You. Pour out the gifts of the Holy Spirit that are promised to us in Your Holy Word so that we can use those gifts to bring others to believe in You and in Christ Jesus Your Son. Kindle the flame of love and passion that we have to know You and to have a close and loving relationship with You. Remind us each and every day that we are Your beloved children through our salvation in Christ. Shine Your glorious face upon each of us so that we can bask in Your radiance and feel it’s warmth. Go with each of us today, fill us with Your Holy Spirit and give to us the peace and joy that You promise in scripture. I pray these things as scripture says, in Jesus’ name; AMEN
