Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. James 4:10 NKJV

Sovereign God, I love You and I give You thanks and praise! I come before You broken and asking for Your great mercies and grace. I am nothing without You and I acknowledge my total reliance on You for the very breath that I breathe and every beat of my heart. I come to You and lift up my brothers and sisters in Christ that we may remember this verse each and every day and that we may be blessed by You so that Your glory and great love will be shown around us and will shine like a beacon of light in this dark world. Father I lift up to You our needs, petitions, and desires today. Many of us are suffering and looking for You to move Your mighty hand in our favor for those things. Please protect us from the evil one and from the evil that prevails in this world. Please hear our prayers and petitions and don’t return them void. Show us and those around us Your glory and majesty and might. You and You alone are worthy of all glory, honor and praise. I pray these things in the name of my Savior and King who is Christ Jesus Your Son; AMEN and AMEN.
