For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Ephesians 6:12-13 NLT

Father God, You and You alone are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise! I love You and I give You thanks and praise. I come to You in humility, recognizing and acknowledging my total reliance and dependence on You for everything. Even the very breath that I breathe comes from You and for all of it I give You thanks and praise. I lift up my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus and ask that You would be merciful and gracious to us. Pour out Your love and affections on us that we may be strengthened and go into these daily battles with the forces of evil knowing that You our Father are behind us and overshadowing us with Your love and protection. Father, many of us are suffering greatly and are worn from battle. Please comfort us, heal our wounds, and give us rest that we may have victory. Strengthen us and give us Your protection. Arm us with Your Holy and Sovereign Word that we may see victory over the prevailing evil that surrounds us. Show us Your supernatural hand Father God that we may be encouraged and comforted. Shine the glowing warmth of Your face down upon us and comfort us with Your loving presence and soothing voice. Pour Your Holy Spirit into us and flood us with His glorious presence so that we won’t be lonely and will always know and have Your guidance with us. I pray these things for my brothers and sisters in Christ as well as for myself in the name of Christ Jesus who is our Savior and Lord; AMEN!
