Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless.  Philippians 2:14-16 NLT

Father God, I love You and I give You thanks and praise! I bow and worship You as my Father, my God, and my King! You are everything and without You I am nothing. I come before You and lift up my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus today. I thank You for this reminder today that we are Your children and that we are to live our lives in such a way that constantly honors You and shows our love for You to those around us. Help us to focus our hearts and minds on You and give each of us a burning desire to show others the truth of who You are. Raise us up as Your children that we may be beacons of Your light in the prevailing darkness and evil of this world. Lift us up and pour out Your love and blessings upon us so that those who don’t know You will recognize Your love and goodness and will want to know You for themselves. Please Father, look upon Your suffering children with deep compassion and love. Pick us up and cradle us in Your loving and healing arms. Comfort us, soothe us, heal us, and give us rest, peace, and joy. Pour out Your blessings and great miraculous gifts upon us and hold us up as Your beloved for all to see. Set us on the solid foundation of Your Word and overshadow us with Your protection, goodness, and supernatural power that we may tell others of Your love and of the gospel of Christ Jesus. We want to be shining examples of Your mercy and grace, Your goodness, majesty, glory, and great never ending love. I pray these things in Jesus’ name; AMEN!
