But I will sing of Your power;
Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning;
For You have been my defense
And refuge in the day of my trouble.
Even in the darkest and most painful places of life I feel that it is important to remember the truth of this verse. It is important that we remember the times that God has seen us through situations and has brought us out of troubles. How many cases will He show us one day of times when He kept us from harm and shielded us from suffering and pain? We must be resolute even in the times when we are in the midst of suffering and troubles and proclaim out thanks and praise to Him for all He has done for us.
Father God, I give You thanks and praise for this reminder as well as all of the incomprehensible things that You have done for me even if I can’t see them for myself. I love You, and I am totally and completely Yours. You alone are worthy of all honor, glory, and praise; may Your name be exalted and brought honor and glory for ever and ever; AMEN. I lift up my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus to You today and bring you these prayers for them as well as for myself. Please hear our cries and pleas to You as well as our thanksgiving and praise. Many of us are suffering in many different ways. Please be merciful and gracious to us and quickly bless us with the miracles and gifts from You that we seek. Use Your blessings and gifts to us to show Your majesty and glory to all those around us to don’t know You. May they see how You lift us up as Your children to comfort, heal, and bless us and how You are eager to give us good and wondrous gifts so that they will want to know You and be in relationship with You as well. Proverbs 15:13 says “A glad heart makes a happy face; a broken heart crushes the spirit.” and oh, how I know that to be true Father. We are also told in Matthew 6 verse 22 that “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light.” Please bring us joy and gladness so that everyone around us will recognize You in our countenance and see that You have filled us up and made us glad and joyful. Abba, Father, many of us have crushed spirits and deeply broken and wounded hearts. I pray to You in fervency on behalf of my brothers, sisters, and for myself that You would hear and be gracious to accept these prayers and to bring quick and speedy restoration and healing, deliverance, rescue, and blessings. Just like You made personal promises to a young Joseph in dreams; You have promised many of us as well and we are waiting on You to fulfill those promises. Please be gracious and quick in the fulfillment of those things. All the glory is Yours!!! I love You and I give You thanks and praise. I stand on Your promises from Matthew chapter 7, and John chapters 14 and 16 where You promise to give good things to Your children in Christ Jesus who ask of You in His name so that our “joy may be full”. Nothing is impossible for You, Yahweh God and we wait in trust, faith, and total dependence on You. There is none like You and none else worthy of our trust, faith, and belief. We are dependent on You for everything. And because of our love, devotion, and total dependence on You we pray these things in the name of Christ Jesus our Savior and King; AMEN and AMEN!
