For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.  John 3:16 AMP

I’d like to make a plea with you today. If you don’t know the love that this verse talks about and if you’ve never made the decision that goes along with this verse I’d like to ask you to please read my post “The Most Important Thing!”.

Father God, I love You and I give You thanks and praise. Thank You for loving us so very much that You sent Your Son to die and pay the price for our sin. Thank You for the free gift of eternal life for all who believe in Your Son who is Christ Jesus our Savior and Lord. May this be a reminder to us today that our love should be focused on You and that our focus should be on You totally and completely. Help us to understand that by our focusing on You and loving You that not only does it not take away any love or affection for those we love but, it actually magnifies it because You ARE Love and by loving You we are simply able to have even greater and and even more pure love for those around us. Please help those of us who are suffering in many different ways to see, feel, and know Your love in a deeper and more meaningful way than ever before. Draw near to us and give us the closeness to You that we desire and long for. Please Father hear our prayers and do not allow their answers and fulfillments to be delayed. I ask these things in the name of Christ my Lord; AMEN!
