He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He did not open His mouth [to complain or defend Himself];
Like a lamb that is led to the slaughter,
And like a sheep that is silent before her shearers,
So He did not open His mouth. Isaiah 53:7 AMP
As we move forward this week towards Easter I would like to invite all of you who are my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus to share with someone. The good news of Easter is for everyone and salvation is for everyone who believes in Jesus and invites Him into our lives to be our Savior and Lord. If you haven’t read my post “The Most Important Thing!” please do so and please share it freely.
Father God, I love You and I give You thanks and praise! You and You alone are worthy of all glory, honor and praise! Thank You for Your free gift of salvation through the death and resurrection of Your Son Jesus Christ who is our Savior and Lord and the only way for us to be forgiven of our sin and to come into Your presence saved from an eternity separated from You. I come before You in humility and brokenness, once again asking for Your mercy and grace over my life. I lift up my brothers and sisters in Christ to You as well. Father, many of us are suffering in many different ways. Please fill us with Your Holy Spirit and fill us with Your peace and joy that we may be living examples of Your love, mercy, and gracious goodness. Focus our minds on You and on the true meaning of Easter. Help us to truly understand how great Your love for us is and give us each a tangible experience through Your Holy Spirit so that we might be strengthened and inspired even more to share Your great love with those around us. I love You and I pray these things in the name of Christ Jesus who is my Savior and Lord; AMEN
