Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.  Hebrews 12:1-2 NLT

Most High and Sovereign God, I come to you in humility and brokenness. I love You and I give You thanks and praise. Please hear these prayers and count them not only for myself but for my brothers and sisters in Christ as well. We are broken, wounded, and in deep need of Your tender loving touch. Help us to live these verses more and more each day so that we will shine Your light as testimonies to Your power and goodness and so that we will share the good news of Christ Jesus with all who are around us. Hear our cries for help Lord and answer us out of Your bountiful glory and grace; turn our mourning into dancing and return beauty for all of the ashes in our lives. We are Your children through the saving grace and blood of Jesus Christ Your Son. Father, our eyes burn from the tears that we have shed and we are dry and voiceless from crying out to You for help. Please look favorably upon us as Your beloved children, lift us up, comfort and heal us, fill us with Your Holy Spirit, and bless us for all to see so that they may see Your great love for us and so that we may share of Your glory and might. Lord bless us and keep us.  Shine Your glorious face upon us, and be gracious to us.  God of hope, lift up Your countenance upon us, show us Your favor, give us Your peace.  May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with our spirits and fill us with all joy and peace in believing, that we may abound in hope by the power of Your Holy Spirit. All glory, honor, and praise belong to You and You alone for You ARE The Creator of ALL, Yahweh, The Most High Living God! We pray these things to You today as scripture tells us to pray; in the Name of Christ Jesus Your Son who is our Savior and King; AMEN!
